Volunteerism
Our employees spend numerous hours each year volunteering their time and efforts for various organizations such as Little League, School Board, community emergency responders, Community Theater, Lions Club, Habitat for Humanity, and many school organizations to name a few.

In 2008 a Cordova employee was selected as one of fifteen company-wide recipients of the 3M Community Volunteer Award. This prestigious award recognizes employees and retirees who volunteer to make meaningful differences in the lives of others and our communities.

Our employees also participate in a variety of area activities including the American Heart Association “Heart Walk,” JA Bowl-a-Thon, and the Quad Cities Marathon. Over the past eleven years, many employees have participated in “Sharing Tree,” a program which provides Christmas gifts to children in the surrounding three counties. Participation is employee driven, and the 3M Club contributes as well. In 2008, 3M Cordova employees and their families provided gifts to 200 children in the area.

3M Cordova is committed to our local communities and holds memberships in the Chambers of Commerce of Albany, Illinois; Fulton, Illinois; Clinton, Iowa; and Illinois Quad Cities.
