Highlights

Traveling Exhibit

Traveling Exhibit
For the curiosity in all of us, the Minnesota Children’s Museum received a $500,000 grant to develop a Curious George National Traveling Exhibit. The exhibit will provide fun, meaningful science, math and engineering experiences through play, conversation with adults and caregivers, and interaction with the exhibit. Like George, children can be curious, solve problems and learn by doing.

Dino Quest

Dino Quest in Southern California
Bringing computer games to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, Calif., a $100,000 grant will help Dino Quest become the first exhibit of its kind to use infrared tracking technology to place visitors in the middle of an educational computer game. With the ability to walk inside the dinosaur, the exhibit will teach predatory/prey relationships, comparative anatomy, how animals are designed for particular environments and how fossils provide evidence of past life on earth.
