2013 3M Ingenuity Grants Awarded
More than 14,000 elementary and middle school students around the nation are getting a lot more involved in their Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) classes, thanks to inspired teaching teams at 34 schools.

These teams receive up to $10,000 each for materials to support their new ideas on sparking student interest. Totaling over $226,000, 3M Ingenuity Grants will reach classrooms in 18 states.

FIRST Robotics
Let the competitions begin!

3M is proud to sponsor the Minnesota FIRST Robotics Regional Competition at the University of Minnesota March 29–30, 2013. Then we are off to St. Louis for the culmination of this year’s programs at the FIRST Championship.

Inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers and technology users is what FIRST is all about and 3M is proud to spark that interest through volunteer, financial and product donations.  Products from 3M™ Industrial Tapes and Adhesives, Electronic Solutions, Electrical Markets, and the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Divisions are in the 2013 Kit of Parts.
