3M produces a full line of specialty spray adhesives and 3M General Trim Adhesive is a very versatile product for a wide variety of light duty applications. Use it when replacing or repairing interior carpet lining.
Clean and dry surface where new carpet will be applied. Use 3M Adhesive Remover for any adhesive previously left behind.
Select desired area spray pattern and shake. Apply 2 coats of 3M General Trim Adhesive to each surface. Apply second coat in opposite direction as the first.
Allow adhesive to dry until tacky, 1-3 minutes.
Press the carpet to the area to be bonded with firm, uniform pressure.
