Restoring Black to Plastic Trim

No one likes it when the black trim surrounding doors or windows starts to look dull and gray. By using 3M Performance Finish on a 3M Microfiber Detail Cloth, the original black color and nice luster are easy to restore.

Follow these simple steps:

1. Gently apply a thin, uniform film of 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax to the trim using a 3M Microfiber Detail Cloth or clean, soft terry cloth towel
2. Remove residue and buff clean with a microfiber cloth or a clean terry cloth towel
3. Repeat as needed, as the black color begins to fade

Notes:

• Do not apply in direct sun, choose a cool shaded spot
• Apply to one section of trim at a time
• Do not allow Performance Finish to dry completely; wipe on/wipe off
