Protecting a Car's Finish

Protecting your paint is big part of protecting your investment in a vehicle. By using a combination of 3M Car Care products, you can maintain durable protection and a high gloss shine for up to six months!

3M™ Performance Finish Synthetic Wax - 39030

By Hand:

1. Try 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax for the ultimate high gloss finish. Synthetic polymers bond to the paint surface, providing six months of durable protection. To use, gently apply a thin, uniform film to the paint surface using a terry cloth wax applicator or a clean, soft, folded cotton terry cloth towel. Do not allow to haze; simply wipe on and wipe off.
2. Remove residue and buff to a high gloss using a 3M Microfiber Detail Cloth or a clean, soft, cotton terry cloth towel
3. Complete steps one panel at a time
4. In between uses of 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax, maintain your paint's gloss and keep it protected with 3M Quick Wax

By Machine:

1. Apply a thin uniform film to the paint surface using a random orbital polisher equipped with a clean, soft, terry cloth bonnet or a DA equipped with a soft foam pad
2. Buff to a high gloss with a polisher equipped with a clean, dry, terry cloth bonnet or by hand using a 3M Microfiber Detail Cloth or a clean, soft, cotton terry cloth towel
3. Complete steps one panel at a time
4. In between uses of 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax, maintain your paint's gloss and keep it protected with 3M Quick Wax

3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax provides long-lasting (up to 6 months) high-gloss finish, it also has exceptional water beading qualities. Both 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax and 3M Quick Wax are safe for use on all types painted vehicle surfaces. This product works great on cars, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles too.

Notes:

• Do not apply in direct sun, chose a cool shaded spot
• Apply to one section of trim at a time
• Do not allow 3M Performance Finish Synthetic Wax to dry completely; wipe on/wipe off
