3M™ Melt Sealing Tapes are heat-activated, melt-flow products. The products are typically applied manually at the sealer deck in small die-cut shapes. They have a tacky side and a paintable side. Die cuts are applied to the e-coated car body prior to the final paint cycle. The products require the heat of the paint cycle in order to achieve final cure.
