Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation provides exceptional sound absorption in load floors, trunks and package trays. The insulation is lighter in weight than competitive materials with similar acoustic performance. In some instances it has reduced the package tray weight by two kilograms while maintaining acoustic performance. The material is readily die-cut or heat sealed. It may be attached adhesively using either pressure sensitive adhesives or hot melt adhesives. Ultrasonically bonding also provides a clean, cost-effective means of attachment.
