Abrasive mineral: Coarse grade aluminum oxide. SL Discs are designed for blending and finishing applications where customers are looking for longer life from discs without sacrificing their desired finish. SL Discs are available in four constructions including Medium, Coarse, Heavy Duty Coarse and Super Duty Coarse. SL Discs provide a fast cutting product and in some instances provide customers an opportunity to combine weld blending and finishing steps more traditionally done by fibre discs followed by surface conditioning discs. SL Heavy Duty and Super Duty discs can help the operators get the work done faster.
