Process
Cut 3M(TM) Repulpable Single Coated Printable Splicing Tape 9960 and 9969 into a rounded or diamond shaped patch larger than the hole. Press the patch into place over the hole.
High shear strength adhesive: High tack adhesive holds firmly to many grades of paper to help reduce the number of splices.
Thin, strong backing: Provides reliable hole patching that holds through coaters and super calendars—increasing yield through mill or printing operations.
Printable backing: Accepts coatings helping assure high quality printing without flaking or print distortion.
Easy-to-remove liner: Paper liner removes quickly to reduce application time and save labor costs.
White or translucent color: 9969 Blends with base paper.
FDA recognized adhesive: 3M tape can be used on most food grade papers.
