High strength adhesive: 70 pound backing of 3M(TM) Repulpable Single Coated Tape R3187 provides high strength and conformability to help prevent the core from slipping and spinning. 3M(TM) Tape R3187 comes in white color for white top coated board or paper, blue, black or kraft.
Easy to apply: No liner saves time and increases speed of core starting. Reduces set change time.
Repulpable: Both 3M tape and liner pass TAPPI method UM-213. No need to separate splice from waste.
Process
Apply two or three strips of 3M(TM) Repulpable Single Coated Tapes R3187 across the web to secure it to the core.
