They are specially treated to resist static charge build-up and can be used effectively and efficiently when conditions are likely to produce static arcing, such as when relative humidity is low (below 20%) or when temperatures fall below freezing. 3M™ Static Resistant Petroleum Sorbents sorb up to twice as much oil and flammable liquid by weight as standard melt-blown static resistant sorbents on land and on water. This results in less sorbent waste, lower cleanup costs, and less time spent cleaning up spills.
The roll is 38 inches by 144 feet long and absorbs 73 gallons.
