Petroleum sorbent mini-booms are used to encircle spills and to contain leaks and are a selective sorbent which will "sorb" hydrocarbon-based liquids (oleophilic) and repel aqueous-based liquids (hydrophobic).
For use in oil-only Sorbent applications.

Scrim on the outside of mini-boom identifies the use while containing particulate Sorbent material.
A 3 inches diameter scrim on the outside of the boom identifies the use while containing particulate sorbent material. The T-8 mini-boom is 8 feet in length. A case weighs 12 pounds.
Each case contains 6 booms (each 3 inches in diameter by 8 feet) which will sorb 2 gallons each.
