The 3M™ Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber Short Termination QT-III, 7622-T-95 kit is designed for terminating (Solid) dielectric power cable rated 5-8kV in small spaces. Helps meet NEC 2005 Code for shielded cables of 2,400+ volts. Meets IEEE standard 48-1996. For primary insulation O.D. of 0.64" to 1.08" and 4/0-400 conductor range for 5kV and 3/0-300 range for 8.7kV.

This one-piece, non-skirted silicone rubber termination comes with factory-applied, pre-positioned Hi-K stress control layers underneath the insulator. Its short 8.5" installed length is excellent for installations in limited spaces, such as those with motors, starters, switchgear, variable speed drives, transformers and similar connections -- often reducing the need to add auxilitary boxes when enclosure space is limited. It`s based on cold shrink technology, field proven over 40 years since 3M invented it. Designed for a range of cable types including tape shield, wire shield and UniShield® constructions. Ease of installation and built-in features help reduce risk of craft errors and provide lower total installed cost.
