3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Nitrile Phenolic Structural Adhesive Films

Nitrile phenolics can outperform epoxies at high temperatures and provide greater strength retention at temperatures above 400 degrees F (240 degrees C).
The most advanced commercial aircraft designs use 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Nitrile Phenolic Films for primary structures requiring sonic fatigue durability and 300 degree F (149 degree C) service temperature.

Developed for the structural bonding of metals. This product is especially suggested for use where high peel strengths are required. Good flexibility and shear strength at service temperatures from -67°F to 180°F (-55°C to 82°C). Easy application in a dry film which can be pressure, heat or solvent tacked into position. Excellent retention of strength after aging in many environments.

Developed for the structural bonding of metals. Especially suggested for use where high peel strengths are required. Good flexibility and shear strength at service temperatures from -67°F to 180°F (-55°C to 82°C). Easy application in a dry film which can be pressure, heat or solvent tacked into position. Excellent retention of strength after aging in many environments.

Unsupported film adhesive of nitrile-phenolic type, supplied with a protective liner. Offers the maximum in elevated temperature strength and still retains good flexibility, peel and low temperature properties. Produces exceptional strength characteristics with very short cure cycles.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 32
Designed for structural bonding especially where high peel strengths or vibration damping is required. Good flexibility and shear strength. Low tack, dry film. Excellent adhesion to aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, cadmium, nickel, brass, phenolic, and epoxy (must use high bonding pressure). Extremely low flow.
