Scotch® Fine Line Masking Tape 265 has an easy unwind and strong backing that minimizes stretch during roll unwind. Silicone-rubber adhesive has excellent adhesion to semi-permanent, high-slip mold releases compared to conventional rubber-resin adhesives. Polypropylene backing is conformable yet strong enough to pull sharply, evenly and consistently though gel coatings.
Typical physical and performance characteristics include: thickness: 5.1 mils, adhesion to steel: 21 oz./in. width, tensile strength: 21 lbs./in. width, elongation at break: 881%, temperature use range: Up to 200°F. Green.
