Scotch® High-temperature Fine Line Masking Tape 222 offers excellent paint breaklines, leaving an extremely low paint ridge. This tape is capable of creating a paint line clean enough to leave uncovered on the finished vehicle. It also minimizes breakline read-through when used in conjunction with decorative stripes or graphics. Tape 222 is die cuttable for masking of curved or irregularly shaped surfaces. Smooth backing will allow taping over fresh paint jobs sooner with reduced chance of imprint damage. Provides good performance and clean removal with all paint systems used in the automotive, truck and aircraft industries. Ideal for good performance at higher temperatures. Should not be subjected to outdoor exposure.
