These one-part, solvent-free, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Instant Adhesives reach handling strength at room temperature in 5-10 seconds and 80% of full strength in one hour, achieving bonds with tensile strength up to 5,000 psi. A single drop per square inch can bond wood, metal, leather, ceramics, acidic or contaminated surfaces and rubber and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. Learn more about Instant Adhesives (CA)... This amazingly successful demonstration set a new world record for the heaviest weight lifted with glue. The vehicle was suspended from a crane by a steel cylinder only 7 cm in diameter, with the two parts of the cylinder secured together with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Plastic & Rubber Instant Adhesive PR100.
