Application ideas include core starting and roll closing of heavy grades of paper. 917 can also be used in thread up applications at the off-machine coater. It is repulpable in most cold water and caustic solutions. The backing contains a thin silicon release coating to eliminate the need for a liner and is therefore not printable. Packaging this tape in sealed plastic bags will help maintain constant moisture content of any unused tape. FDA compliant.
