3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Easy 250 Applicator is a self-contained pneumatic applicator designed to dispense cartridges of 3M™ PUR adhesives. These adhesives are applied warm and can bond a wide variety of substrates such as wood, fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and many other plastics to themselves, to metal and to glass.
Electrically-heated pneumatic applicator dispenses adhesive at 250°F (121°C) with the squeeze of a trigger
Easy to use and maintain with disposable nozzle, no tip cap, no grease, and no system purging
Adhesive can stay in applicator at dispensing temperature for up to 16 hours
One component adhesive offers easy application with no mixing or guesswork
Designed exclusively for use with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) Easy 250 or 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) Adhesive
Production Power of Dual Technologies in One Self-Contained System
With the hand-held 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Easy 250 Applicator, you have the practical benefits of two technologies in your assembly operation. This single component system combines structural adhesive benefits and hot melt adhesive speed for wood, plastic and more. One-component and moisture curing eliminates metering, mixing and curing time and equipment, for efficient operation. The electrically-heated pneumatic applicator dispenses adhesive at 250°F (121°C) with the squeeze of a trigger. The adhesive can stay in the applicator at dispensing temperature for up to 16 hours.

About 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesives
3M™ Scotch-Weld ™ PUR Adhesives are our family of one-component, moisture-curing, urethane adhesives. These adhesives are applied warm and bond strongly a variety of substrates such as wood, fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and many other plastics to themselves, to metal and to glass. Our moisture-curing formula cures by reacting with moisture in the air or the substrate. In addition to spraying, they can also be extruded from hand held or bench mounted applicators and are primarily dispensed with bulk application equipment. Our one-part PUR adhesives work well for bonding a wide variety of plastics including polystyrene and polyacrylic. They are also effective on a wide variety of other substrates - from aluminum and glass to plastic and wood.
Our one component adhesives create high-strength bonds and can be used to bond many heat sensitive materials. Their 100% solids formula is highly plasticizer resistant and bonds firmly on a broad variety of substrates, both similar and dissimilar.
The Difference is in the Cure
Our family of one-part Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) adhesives employs dual strengths: PURs build handling strength immediately after part assembly and structural strength as they chemically bond to the substrate. Their fast-acting strength begins to build as the adhesive cools for rapid, convenient adhesive application with minimal downtime from clamping or fixturing. Their reactive nature achieves dramatically strong bonds to the surface for a durable bond with good temperature and chemical resistance. Unlike two-part adhesives there is no mixing or metering and unlike water and solvent adhesives there are no VOCs and virtually no overspray.
PURs offer an attractive option; from woodworkers searching for thin bond lines and replacing unsightly mechanical fasteners, to plastic, glass and metal materials assembly in automotive, construction and many other industries.
