3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesive TS115 HGS is our one-component, 100% solids, moisture-curing, structural adhesive for bonding wood, FRP, glass, metal and select plastics. This adhesive can be extruded, sprayed, or roll coated onto substrates to achieve a strong yet flexible bond. The longer open and set times give you more time to position parts or joints for a perfect fit prior to full cure.
Long open and set times offers time to position parts
Plasticizer resistant formula creates high-strength bonds
Multi substrate bonder works on a wide variety of similar and dissimilar substrates
100% solids formula is ideal for bonding many heat sensitive materials
One component adhesive for easy application with no mixing or guesswork
About 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ PUR Adhesives
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Polyurethane Reactive Adhesives, or PUR, are our family of one-component, moisture-curing, urethane adhesives. These adhesives are applied warm and bond strongly to a variety of substrates such as wood, fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and many other plastics to themselves, to metal and to glass. Our moisture-curing formula cures by reacting with moisture in the air or the substrate. In addition to spraying, they can also be extruded from hand held or bench mounted applicators and are primarily dispensed with bulk application equipment. Our one-part PUR adhesives work well for bonding a wide variety of plastics including polystyrene and polyacrylic. They are also effective on a wide variety of other substrates - from aluminum and glass to plastic and wood.
Military & Government
Our one component adhesives create high-strength bonds and can be used to bond many heat sensitive materials. Their 100% solids formula is highly plasticizer resistant and bonds firmly on a broad variety of substrates, both similar and dissimilar.
The Difference is in the Cure
Our family of one-part Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) adhesives employs dual strengths: PURs build handling strength immediately after part assembly and structural strength as they chemically bond to the substrate. Their fast-acting strength begins to build as the adhesive cools for rapid, convenient adhesive application with minimal downtime from clamping or fixturing. Their reactive nature achieves dramatically strong bonds to the surface for a durable bond with good temperature and chemical resistance. Unlike two-part adhesives there is no mixing or metering and unlike water and solvent adhesives there are no VOCs and virtually no overspray.
PURs offer an attractive option; from woodworkers searching for thin bond lines and replacing unsightly mechanical fasteners, to plastic, glass and metal materials assembly in automotive, construction and many other industries .
