Since 3M Animal Care Products introduced 3M™ Vetrap™ Bandaging Tape in 1968, the business unit has been helping to improve the health of animals around the world by serving the needs of veterinarians (equine and small animal), horse enthusiasts, pet owners and commercial agriculture by providing access to 3M health care products. 

The global business enjoys market leading positions with 3M™ Vetrap™ Bandaging Tape, 3M™ X-ray film and 3M™ Littmann® brand stethoscopes and is leveraging this market strength to build it’s presence in surgical, infection prevention and wound care products. 

The business also markets selected products from several 3M divisions including safety-related products from the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Division, janitorial products from the Commercial Care Division and lint management products from the Home Care Division.
