The 3M Clinical Claims Editor (CCE) is a computerized patient record processing system for insurance companies, managed care companies, claims review companies, and other payers of the provider-submitted patient claims. The functions of the CCE are to assign patient records to Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs), to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of clinical data, to identify potential coding errors, and to verify provider claims for reimbursement. CCE is available for z/OS® in CICS and Batch versions.
