3M ClinTrac Infection Control Manager Software (ICM) is a full-service infection assessment and reporting application. The system automates the labor-intensive task of assembling case findings, automatically identifying patients with pathogens, antibiograms, or antibiotics that need tracking. Even those admitted patients who have been under surveillance during previous visits are added to worklists. ClinTrac ICM utilizes infection definitions based on the Center for Disease Control Nosocomial Infections Surveillance System, as well as custom, hospital-defined criteria. It will automatically identify patients who meet specific criteria for infections, eliminating difficulties in identifying these populations. It gives fast and accurate determination and reporting of Nosocomial infections, giving staff more time for patient care.
