3M™ Damping Foil Tape helps damp vibrations on metal and plastic surfaces vibrating at their natural(resonant) frequency. It consists of a pressure-sensitive, viscoelastic polymer and aluminum foil constraining layer that effectively converts vibrational energy to negligible heat, in order to reduce irritating noises and decrease wear and tear on parts.
CONFOR® Foams are viscoelastic urethane foams with shock/energy absorption properties and ergonomic properties allow for uniform pressure distribution and firm support. Applications include circuit board protectors, head restratints, seating and A-pillar protection.
