3M Announces MCS™ Warranty Now Extended to HP Scitex TJ8300 Printer

St. Paul, MN (April 11, 2007) — 3M has announced the extension of its 3M™ MCS™ Warranty to 3M™ Piezo Inkjet Ink Series 4800 for use with the HP Scitex TJ8300 printer. Finished graphics using Inkjet Series 4800 inks may be warranted for up to five years of outdoor use when used with and an overlaminate or clear coat.

Ink series 4800 ink, optimized for the HP Scitex TJ8300 printer, creates vibrant graphics that have excellent color retention and are weather resistant. Colors are the standard CMYK, plus Light Magenta and Light Cyan.

Ink series 4800 ink is compatible with 3M™ Controltac™ Graphic Films and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Graphic Films. Applications include fleet and vehicle graphics, indoor and outdoor signs, banners and flexible sign faces.
