3M provides a variety of medium-voltage splicing technologies—cold shrink, molded rubber, tape and resin kits—for applications from 1kV to 46kV splices. Many of them use the cold shrink technology invented by 3M. Besides splicing, rejacketing and repair kits, 3M offers such accessories as cable preparation and cleaning materials, grounding kits and lugs and compression connectors. All come backed by 3M’s respected technical support.

3M™ Armorcast™ Material 4560
Armorcast structural material is a flexible fiberglass knit fabric strip saturated with black resin syrup then dried. It forms a tough durable covering that cures in just 20 minutes.

3M™ Modular Splicing
3M™ Modular Splicing Kits form a 5 to 25 kV 600 Amp separable insulated connector system.

3M™ Splice Rejacketing
3M™ Splice Rejacketing kits offer water-tight rejacketing for Jacketed Concentric Neutral(JCN) cable.

3M™ Splice Repair
3M™ Splice Repair sleeves are designed to quickly repair damaged cable jacketing. They may also be used to rejacket in-line splices.

3M has the solution for medium voltage splicing, connecting and terminating. Including a broad range of terminations, splices, motor leads, as well as equipment and cable accessories.
