3M provides a variety of medium-voltage splicing technologies—molded rubber, tape and resin kits—for applications from 1kV to 69kV splices. 3M also provides many splices using the cold shrink technology that 3M pioneered.

Besides splicing, rejacketing and repair kits, 3M offers such accessories as cable preparation and cleaning materials, grounding kits and lugs and compression connectors. 3M™ Motor Lead Splice Kits reliably protect motor lead connections. All come backed by 3M’s respected technical support.

3M™ Modular Splicing
3M™ Modular Splicing Kits form a 5 to 25 kV 600 Amp separable insulated connector system.

3M™ Motor Lead Connections
3M provides a convenient kit with everything needed to quickly make lugged motor lead connections to feeder cables.

3M™ Splice Rejacketing
When Jacketed Concentric Neutral cable (JCN) is spliced, it is necessary to cover the junction between the cable jackets with a water resistant rejacket.

3M™ Splice Repair
3M™ Splice Repair sleeves are designed to quickly repair damaged cable jacketing. They may also be used to rejacket in-line splices.
