New HCPCS Codes for Coban 2 Layer Compression System

 

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has assigned product-specific HCPCS codes for Coban 2 Layer Compression System (Cat #2094). The new codes became effective January 2, 2014.

  • Comfort layer has been assigned HCPCS code A6441 (padding bandage).
  • Compression layer has been assigned HCPCS code A6452 (high compression bandage).

Coban 2 Layer Compression Systems are clinically proven to be comfortable, increasing compliance and improving the potential for more effective treatment with compression bandages.
