Because 3M™ Super 77™ Multipurpose Adhesive provides a strong bond on a wide variety of materials, this leather-top table is easier to make than you'd think. Attractive details like decorative tacks give it an authentic, professional look.
Place leather right side down. Place table upside-down on top of leather.
Measure leather, allowing enough overage to wrap around all the way to the underside of the tabletop.
Protect surfaces from overspray with newspaper, plastic or craft paper. Mask off areas of table to be sprayed.
Follow directions on can and work in a well-ventilated area. Spray leather and the tabletop with 3M™ Super 77™ Multipurpose Adhesive.
After 30 seconds, smooth leather across top of table and around sides and bottom.
For even spacing of decorative tacks, place tape around outside edge of table as shown. Using the ruler, measure and mark where you want to place the decorative tacks.
Tap decorative tacks into the table, using the hammer.
Remove tape.
And you're done! You've transformed an ordinary table into an extraordinary one.
