How-to
Begin with a plain lampshade. Starting at the seam of the shade, roll it along the fabric, marking fabric into a curved pattern as you go.
Measure 2" from solid line and make a dotted line. This shows the area that will wrap around the bottom edge of the shade.
Cut fabric along dotted line. Cut small notches approximately every 2" along the way. This will help fabric stay smooth when wrapped around the edges.
Protect surfaces from overspray with newspaper, plastic or craft paper.
Make sure shade and fabric are free from dirt and dust.
Follow directions on can and work in a well-ventilated area. Spray lampshade and fabric with 3M™ Super 77™ Multipurpose Adhesive.
Wait 30 seconds and smooth fabric onto lampshade. Wrap excess around top and bottom.
