Many quick serve restaurants have HVAC systems located on the roof top. This requires manual change out of filters, often as frequently as once per month, depending on the filter. In 2012, a franchise owner of a major quick serve restaurant, searching for fewer change-outs and better energy efficiency, approached 3M about a solution.
