Final Membrane Filtration in the Winery

Microporous membrane filters that help control microorganisms in finished wine.

Many wines require a final filtration step with microporous membrane filtration to help remove microorganisms that may lead to re-fermentation or production of off-flavors in the bottle. White wines, and wines with residual sugar (RS) are more likely than dry red wines to benefit from this filtration.
