Soft Drink Concentrate Filtration

Filter that help reduce hazes in soft drink concentrates.

Soft drink concentrates can sometimes suffer from a haze caused by instability of various component ingredients or as a side effect of certain solvent extractions. The haze can be effectively reduced by filtration with cellulose-based depth filters, such as the Zeta PlusTM H & MH series filter.

Many processors find that the benefits of the Zeta Plus lenticular cartridge configuration are superior to that of conventional sheet filtration. These benefits, such as a totally enclosed filter housing that eliminates leakage of product, and an easy-to-use cartridge design for rapid installation and removal, result in a more efficient and cost effective process.
