Final Filtration for Microorganisms in Distilled Spirits
Filters that help control microorganisms prior to bottling.
Some low-alcohol beverages or blends can benefit from final filtration using microporous membrane filters to help remove any remaining microorganisms that may spoil the product. Commonly used in wineries and in breweries make non-pasteurized beer, microporous membrane filters, such as the LifeASSURE™ BLA and BNA series filters, are effective in helping control microorganism prior to bottling.
