3M Detection Solutions Introduces Newly Redesigned Website – www.3M.com/Detection

This newly designed website offers users enhanced content, navigation and functionality as well as access to the new Detection Service Portal and 3M eAcademy.

Product Content
Content is now categorized by major product group with searchable attributes listed on the left of each page for quick and intuitive navigation. Each product group then offers users additional searching through instrument-specific attributes. Within each product page, you will find specifications, ordering information, as well as links to the user manual, sales collateral.

Detection Service Portal
The Detection Service Portal allows customers to create a unique service profile and schedule Detection instrument calibration and/or repair. The Return Authorization Number is sent automatically via email upon submission and the customer receives service pricing based upon their profile. The portal also allows for review of past orders and uploading of documents (tax exempt certificates, etc.).

3M eAcademy
3M eAcademy offers a comprehensive range of eModules designed to expand your team’s knowledge of industrial hygiene hazards and instrumentation. These eModules which are available free of charge, range from 5 to 15 minutes in length and cover topics such as introduction to noise monitoring, as well as product specific overviews and 3M™ Detection Management Software interactive training. In addition, this newly launched site features links to YouTube videos for the recently launched 3M™ Sound Examiner Series of Sound Level Meters and Detection Management Software DMS.
