Welcome to the 3M Disposable Respiratory Product Preference Selector
The disposable filtering facepiece respirators in this selector are NIOSH approved as particulate respirators for airborne concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL), or applicable occupational exposure limit, when used per the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134. Outside the U.S., consult the authority having jurisdiction in your country for respirator selection requirements. These respirators may not be used with beards, facial hair, or other conditions that prevent a good seal between the face and the sealing surface of the respirator.

At 3M, we’ve been developing disposable respirators with Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM). Our unique manufacturing process injects a high level of electrostatic charge into microfibers arranged in an open formation that allow for the greater passage of air through the media.
Test data agrees with 200 Safety Managers
3M’s “AEM” media, tested in the 3M 8210, continues to have lower breathing resistance compared to several leading competitive respirators
