For best results, try Clinpro prophy paste for a full day to get a good feel for the material, and follow these helpful tips when using this product:
- Pack the prophy cup with paste — a little paste goes a long way.
- Smear paste on 2-3 surfaces of the teeth then polish those teeth. For heavier stain, concentrate on a single tooth at a time. Areas of heavy stain may require an additional application of fresh paste.
- Run the handpiece at the lowest speed possible—3000 rpm or less.
- Evacuate periodically to remove excess saliva.
- Rinse and evacuate more frequently to fully remove paste.
