This program will discuss common problems in the direct procedure and offer practical solutions utilizing advanced materials and techniques. Through discussion and hands-on application, participants will have the opportunity to shade-layer composite, engage in peer-to-peer discussion and learn in a classroom-style environment. Length: 3 hours.
Crown and Bridge Workshops
- Lava™ Precision Solutions for Dentists [ ? ] What is this?
Variety of topics including: Crown & bridge restorations delivered through a digital CAD/CAM process from the dental laboratory--with an emphasis on zirconia crown & bridge restorations; the indirect procedure, including preparation guidelines, impression taking, temporization, and cementation, as well as an introduction to alternative digital processes including digital impression options. Length: 2 hours.
- Materials & Techniques to Promote Dental Practice Success in Temporization [ ? ] What is this?
This program will discuss the importance of the temporization procedure and offer practical solutions utilizing advanced materials and techniques. Through discussion and hands-on application, individuals will review the latest materials, as well as learn to improve technique, gain confidence in esthetic results, reduce chair time, and increase patient satisfaction. Length: 2 hours.
- Impression Troubleshooting [ ? ] What is this?
A systematic approach to teaching clinicians how to visually identify the most common impression making issues seen by dental labs, understand the root causes, and provide solutions for each issue. Length: 1-2 hours.
- Implant Restorative Workshops [ ? ] What is this?
This course will focus on the indirect restorative procedure for implants, including impression taking, new temporization innovations, new options for custom, shaded, zirconia implant abutments for optimal esthetics and tissue management, and cementation considerations for final placement of Lava zirconia crowns and other final restorative materials. Also included will be a peek into the future with new technologies such as digital impressions, CAD/CAM, and CBCT technology. Length: 2 hours.
