Uniqueness made easy: In addition to the 18 Dyeing Liquids the Lava™ Plus system offers 8 Effect Shades, allowing final characterizing of the milled restoration before sintering. The Effect Shades follow the same principle as the Dyeing Liquids, i.e. the color becomes an integral part of the zirconia by incorporating additional ions:
white to mimic opaque white spots
yellow, orange, brown e.g. for providing a stain into fissures and to darken crown margins
purple and gray to increase the vitality of cusps and incisal edges
