3M NZ Excellence in Innovation Award

• 3M New Zealand proudly sponsors innovation on the Northshore in the annual Westpac Enterprise Northshore Business Excellence Award.  The Excellence in Innovation is given to the company who is judged by an expert panel as having delivered the most innovative business solution on the Northshore.

• The 3M World of Casting Wearable and Static Arts Awards take place during the 3M Casting Conference3 and showcase creativity and resourcefulness, while demonstrating that casting is equal parts art, function and innovation.

• The 3M Award for Innovation in Libraries is in its 12th year and is presented each year at the annual LIANZA conference.  The purpose of the award is to promote excellence and innovation in the library and information profession.

• The 3M Award for Innovation in Health and Safety is to recognize and reward the excellent work being done by health & safety professionals every day.
  
• 3M Traffic Safety Systems Division has been an innovation leader in traffic safety for more than 65 years and here in New Zealand 3M is a Member of the IPENZ Transportation Group.  In an effort to foster innovation in the field of traffic safety and engineering 3M announced a new Traffic Engineer of the Year Award in 1996.  This award, judged the winner by their own traffic engineering peers, is presented each year to an individual or group who best demonstrates an innovative concept, program or project that will improve safety on our roads.  The winner receives a fully funded trip to attend an ITE conference in the United States and visit 3M global head office in St Paul Minnesota.  In 2005 the award was renamed the 3M Traffic Safety Innovation Award.
