The local subsidiary, 3M Lanka (Private) Limited commenced operations in August
1994. The company moved to its present office at Colombo 7 in November 2011.
3M has introduced its diverse range of products to the Health care, Apparel,
Safety and Security, Wood working, Communication, Infrastructure and Retail
markets in Sri Lanka. Most 3M products are based on the company's 46 technology
platforms and have been introduced to Sri Lanka at present. The company has
