3M™ Frangible Post System
3M™ Frangible Post System is a 140mm lightweight, novel glass and carbon fibre reinforced, composite post with an NE classification. The post is designed to crumple upon impact and can be said to reduce the risk of secondary accidents associated with debris from the first accident. The Frangible Post System Series 140 has been tested using BS EN 12767. The overall rating for this post is NE2.
