Bandages for the Treatment of Leg Ulcers
The treatment of leg ulcers, a chronic condition, has been estimated to cost the NHS between £300M and £600M a year. Leg ulcers can be caused by a number of physiological or biochemical disorders, but the majority, approximately 70%, are associated with venous disease and are suitable for treatment with the new, unique compression system from 3M Health Care. The Original 3M™ Coban ™ Self-Adherent Bandage Available in a wide range of patient-pleasing colours, the original Coban self-adherent bandage sticks only to itself and not to skin or hair. Used for compression bandaging, sprain bandaging, strains and oedema control, the original Coban bandage is also suitable for securing dressings and devices.
