Featuring the same highly regarded physical properties and excellent clinical performance as its original nanocomposite, 3M ESPE now introduces Filtek™ Supreme XT Universal Restorative - showcasing an optimised shading system that more accurately matches natural tooth color.

Dentists have long appreciated our range of shades and opacities. Now, after working with clinicians in Europe and the United States for two years, we’ve improved our shades, making excellent esthetic results even easier to obtain - while still maintaining the benefits our patented nanotechnology delivers.

This tab illustrates the difference between the original Filtek™ Supreme Universal Restorative and the new Filtek™ Supreme XT Nanocomposite applied to a vita® shade tab. Note the improvements, especially on the unsupported areas of the tab. This means better results in the critical Class III and IV restorations. Second illustration was made by using a filter to force the image to be made of only 4 colours. This technique, known as posterizing, highlights both the difference between the two products as well as the blend achieved with Filtek™ Supreme XT Universal Restorative.
