February, 2010 - Bracknell, UK

3M, the diversified technology company, will be demonstrating its latest range of structured cabling solutions at this year’s Networkshop and showing how it is addressing specific needs of the education market.

Networkshop 38 is the UK’s premier education and research networking event and offers a unique opportunity to present and discuss technical and practical aspects of providing advanced Internet services and applications to the research and education community in the UK.

Drawing on its extensive R&D track-record, 3M is already one of Europe’s leading providers of structured cabling and is now focused on delivering voice and data communications solutions to the UK education sector. 3M will also be showcasing its newly introduced intelligent cabling range at this year’s Networkshop. The 3M Volition Intelligent Management System is designed to help network managers maximise control of the physical cable network and improve overall efficiency of voice and data networks. The system is designed to accommodate even the most complex of networks and includes an exceptionally broad range of options for every component, including UTP and STP copper cable, LC and SC fibre optic cable connectors.
