Co-location Connection Technologies
With the liberalisation of the telecommunication market new operators have been able to establish themselves inside the Central Office environment. These new operators normally do not own their own telecommunication network or only an inadequate one. So, to ensure a path to the customer, the new operators are allowed to use the existing network of the ILEC´s, a process described as co-location.
