How much can you win in 1 day?

On Saturday April 12th, Team3M won, not once, twice or three times… no, it was even more!

The vision of Team3M is to become the best continental team in the Benelux. That does not mean that we think we can always win. We just want to be organized and present our team the best way possible.  Still, while ‘Making Progress Possible’ there will come days that you win. Saturday April 12th 2014 was such a day.

How much can you win in 1 day? Christophe SLEURS became Provincial Champion by winning the TT in Limburg (Belgium) with more the one minute ahead of second.
Team3M- Jens Vandenbogaerde Jens VANDENBOGAERDE won the U23 kermis-race in Hooglede (town of this year’s Belgian championship TT), more than 30 seconds ahead of next race

In the UCI 1.1. Pino Cerami Team3M got ex aequo first in the team-ranking with equal points as ROUBAIX, (ROUBAIX's first rider got 9th so they win the Team-ranking for that day.)
In that race where world-known sprinter Alessandro PETACCHI of World-tour team Omega Pharma Quick Step wins this team results gives even more glory to this placing. Team3M got this team-result through the placings of  Emiel VERMEULEN (17th), Jaap DE MAN (19th), Timothy STEVENS (21st) and Gerry DRUYTS (27th), but also because ot the efforts of Tim VANSPEYBROECK (in the final brake of 13 riders and caught only 8 km from the finish) and the hard team-work of Jimmy JANSSENS, Gregory FRANKAERT and Michael VINGERLING.

Meanwhile far away, on Trinidad & Tobago, our Melvin van Zijl participated in a race in his favorite discipline: Track Racing. Although Melvin comes from The Netherlands where there are a lot of green fields, the road that was paved with grass was a little uncommon to him. Still he managed to win already twice on the island…
