Team3M receives wildcard for Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne!

 Team3M receives wildcard for Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne!

Great news for our riders and fans: Team3M has been granted a WILDCARD for the 2013 edition of Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne, on February 24th, at the opening of the season.

We are extremely happy and like to thank everyone who has helped to make this happen.

Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne is a semi-classic, traditionally organized on the Sunday of the openingsweekend of the West-European Cycling Season. De race takes place the day after ‘Omloop Het Nieuwsblad’.

It is an interesting and cool debut. The first race of Team3M is a serious one. General Manager Bernard Moerman thinks that receiving the wildcard is due to three reasons: First of all we have attracted a great set of riders to the team. Our aim is on further development, so these guys are candidates to be future winners; Secondly our ‘sponsor’ 3M has got a great reputation and is serious about the support to the cycling world and, more specific, about our philosophy. Thirdly, especially these days the clean cycling movement is coming up – over the past 20 years Cycling Center, the partner behind Team3M, has proven to be a frontrunner in the area of zero-tolerance. That all might have helped the organization of Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne to decide in our favor. “As a newcomer we may not be a candidate for winning the race, but just participating is already a victory as it will greatly help the development of the riders.” says Moerman.
