3M Welding Safety Awards

The winners 2009 are:

Mr Jochem Tanneberger, PMT – Prävention-Management-Team, for “The Welding mobile for improved air quality while welding“.

The Centre for Science and Research in Hamburg, for the design and employment of PIMEX – a system for effective working safety at welding.

Each winner receives a beautifully designed trophy and a €5,000 contribution to their work, donated by 3M Germany GmbH.

Winners of the 3M Welding Safety Award are rewarded for their “best approach for a sustainable upgrade of welders’ working conditions”.

“To continuously upgrade welders safety at work is one of our many concerns” explains Jürgen Gleim, from the 3M Speedglas team.
